Overview
The ST-PVD236 video, power& data balun +12VDC converter is a passive (no-amplified) video transceiver combined with a 24-36VAC to 12VDC converter. Designed to fit on the back of a fixed 12VDC camera, this unit is architected to convert 24-36VAC power from the control room, while delivering real-time baseband (composite) video at extended distance, all over one 4-pair UPT cable.
The unparalleled interference rejection and low emission of ST-PVD236 allows video and low voltage power to coexist within the same 4 pair cable, using structured (EUA568B) wiring practices. Its is recommended that the 24-36VAC not share the same jacketed wire bundle with telecom or datacom signals.
ST-PVD236 eliminates costly and bulky coaxial cable, allowing live CCTV color video signal up to 400m, data& power transmission up to 300m while used as a pair.
ST-PVD236 has built-in surge suppression to protect video equipment against damaging voltage spikes. Its crosstalk and noise immunity ensure quality video signals.
